The Resort for the Very Young

Västervik Resort has been welcoming families with children since 1933. That’s why we can offer great vacation experiences for children of all ages. Here there are lots of fun things to do even for small children.

You choose whether you want to make new memories with your family or new friends! As a parent, you can always feel safe and secure. The entire Västervik Resort is designed with families with children in mind. Barbecue areas and playgrounds are placed next to each other so you can barbecue while the kids play. By the way, did you know that Västervik’s largest playground is located at the resort?

You haven’t missed Lysse, have you? Lysse is the friendliest seal in the world and a real sweetheart. He participates in activities and is always ready for a cuddle! In addition to cuddling, Lysse is passionate about working for the environment and against bullying.

The children’s activities start early in the morning and last until the evening. The first activity starts at 08:45 and the evening show starts at 21:00 to be exact. All the fun we have is very much appreciated by both children and parents. The children also get the opportunity to make new friends from all sorts of cities! Our packed activity schedule for summer 2022 offers experiences for all tastes. Both action-packed and more sedate activities like crafts and creativity. Explore it yourself and see all the fun! New this year is, among other things, a high ropes course for toddlers

On top of our packed activity schedule, there are always 96 hectares of land to discover. It’s a great mix of different environments. Both cliffs, beach, water and forest. A real outdoor experience for the little ones, and the big ones! Grilling sausages and marshmallows in nature is never wrong. Let the kids play in a playground you supervise while the food is being prepared.

You’re never far from a swim at Västervik resort. For sea bathing with smaller children, parents usually appreciate our sandy beaches over rocky bathing. Our water park offers both indoor and outdoor swimming. You’ll find both a children’s pool and a jacuzzi here.

In 2022, a new bouncy castle will open. Also, new for this year are our high-altitude courses, here there are courses with different levels of difficulty for different ages. Sometimes the kids are braver than the parents!
