Booking Rules
It is important to read our booking rules already when you book your accommodation so that there are no misconceptions about what rules apply. We follow the Swedish Camping booking rules.
Arrival and Departure
You have access to your cabin, apartment or mobile home from 15:00 on the day of arrival until 11:00 on the day of departure. Camping pitches have access and departure at 12.00. We never guarantee a specific cabin or camping pitch, but reserve the right to rearrange the accommodation if necessary.
Prices
We have differentiated pricing that spans different seasons – low season, high season, and peak season. During the midsummer weekend, the peak season price list applies. Our prices include free access to the service building with toilets, showers, laundry rooms, and kitchens.
Supplement
We offer several extras to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We offer cleaning, sheets and towels, a crib, an extra bed, a high chair, and breakfast. See prices on our website or contact the reception.
Cleaning
Cleaning is not included in the price. Your accommodation will be checked after departure and if Västervik Resort does not find that the final cleaning meets our instructions, a final cleaning fee will be charged. Full cleaning equipment is available in the cottage. Final cleaning is included in Stuga+/Studio+.
The Adventure Pool
We have our adventure pool in the area and if you have booked at least 7 nights, a family ticket is included in the price. You don’t need to collect a ticket, just give us your booking number at the pool entrance. During the low season, we have discounted prices at the bath, see current prices and opening hours on the website. Entrance tickets can be purchased at the checkout at the bath. We do not allow food or drink inside the bathing area. The relaxation area is not included in the price, and you must be at least 13 years old to use the relaxation area. Controller
No more people are allowed to stay than the number indicated in the description of the accommodation. Children are counted between 2–12 years. When renting a camping pitch, the guest listed on the booking is included, as well as his/her spouse/partner and children living at home.
Västervik Resort is a family campsite. All residents must be over 18 years old or accompanied by a guardian. Guardians and minors must stay in the same property for the duration of their stay. Please have your ID ready at check-in.
Between 23:00 and 07:00, all guests must show the utmost consideration and silence towards other guests. No car traffic is allowed in the area. Outside each cottage there are parking facilities, if you have several cars, parking can be done in the designated parking lot, which also applies to the campsite.
Pets and Smoking
We welcome pets in most of our cottage types. Our Studios, Krokö, Rågö and Jungfruskär are pet-free, and we ask everyone to respect that. We cannot guarantee completely pet-free cabins. All animals must be leashed in the area. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all our properties. Violation will result in a fine of 10,000 SEK.
Festivals and Events
During certain weeks in the summer, Västervik Resort offers an extra festive atmosphere, including during Midsummer (week 25) and the Fish Festival (week 28).
Booking Conditions
The hirer is responsible for the upkeep of the accommodation or camping pitch, and you may not use the accommodation for further rentals. You are also not allowed to let other guests than those stated when booking stay overnight in the cabin or on the site. A second vehicle may not stay on the site in the form of a party tent, tent, or small caravan.
You as a renter are responsible for checking your invoice or booking confirmation that, for example, the price and date are correct for the rented period. When you pay your invoice, you have confirmed and entered into a binding agreement with Västervik Resort. Your booking becomes binding when it is confirmed by us, which can be done by email, letter, verbally, and over the phone.
If you book earlier than 40 days in advance, the registration fee is 20% of the purchase price. The registration fee must be paid within 10 days, the remaining amount must be received by us at least 40 days before arrival. If you have booked later than 40 days before arrival, the full amount must be paid within 10 days of booking. If you do not pay your invoice on time, we reserve the right to cancel your existing booking.
Cancellation Insurance
Cancellation cover applies per booked property.
With the cancellation cover (SÄKER 295kr), you can cancel up to the day before arrival in case of illness with a medical certificate. Applies against a certificate from a doctor, authority, or insurance company and includes, in addition to illness, death, accidents of a serious nature, and serious events in your accommodation. You will then receive a refund of the full amount in addition to the cost of the cancellation cover.
With the cancellation cover (SÄKRARE 495kr) you can also choose to cancel up to 40 days before arrival for any reason (without having to present a certificate). After the 40-day cut-off date, the same conditions apply as SECURE.
With the cancellation cover (SÄKRAST 795kr) you can also choose to cancel up to 7 days before arrival for any reason (without having to present a certificate). After the cut-off date of 7 days, the same conditions apply as SÄKER.
No Cancellation Protection
Without cancellation cover, no refund of amounts already paid will be made for any reason.
If canceled on the same day, you pay 100% of the rental amount.
If you cancel your stay in advance, Västervik Resort will not reimburse you.
Natural Disasters, War, and More
Either party has the right to withdraw from the rental agreement if the accommodation cannot be provided due to acts of war, natural disasters, labor disputes, prolonged interruption of water or energy supply, fire, or another similar event that neither party can foresee.
Do You Have Something You Want to Tell Us?
If you would like to give praise or criticism, we are happy to receive it at reception. If you experience a problem or dissatisfaction, please contact us immediately, and we will try to resolve it within a reasonable time. Unfortunately, we will not be able to compensate you if you do not raise your concerns immediately. If we do not agree on an issue or come to an agreement, we ask you to submit your opinion in writing to us in the first instance and in the second instance to turn to ARN, arn.se
